notice for Authentium's Command AntiVirus version 3.32 for Microsoft Exchange
2000/2003
Special Notes
Version
3.32 is designed to replace all prior versions of Command AntiVirus for Microsoft Exchange 2000/2003, and
should be considered a "Recommended Update."
For those customers running
CSAV Enterprise concurrently on their Exchange server, you must first
upgrade CSAV Enterprise with the latest version of CSAV for SMB 4.94.5 to
protect your server file system prior to installing this version of CSAV
for Exchange. (The older CSAV Enterprise versions may cause updating
conflicts with this version of CSAV for Exchange.)
Feature enhancements/bug fixes in this release :
- Updated to version 4.94.5
of the virus scan engine.
- Now uses AVSDK2 for
easier future upgrade path
- Fixed a few buffer
overflow vulnerabilities.
- Designed to share scan
engine, Dynamic Virus Protection (DVP), and virus definition
signature files when run concurrently with CSAV for SMB version
4.94.5, resulting in more efficient operation.
