Authentium does not use the software technology called clear gifs (also known as “Web Beacons” or “Web Bugs”) to analyze traffic on our website.  Clear gifs are tiny graphics (about 1 by 1 pixels) with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are sometimes used to track the online movements of website visitors.  We do not use clear gifs at our site.

We, or our third party marketing firms, may occasionally use clear gifs in HTML-based emails to let us know which emails have been opened by recipients. This allows us to determine how effective our email campaigns may be and to improve our email marketing efforts.
