How We Use

We use the personal information that we collect for
the stated purpose, e.g., if we collect information in
connection with an on-line order, we use the information
to fulfill and invoice the order. In addition, we may
use the information that we collect to provide

We use non-personal information about web visitors and
website traffic to assess the performance of our website
and improve your website experience.
With Whom We
Share Information
In general, except as stated at the time we request
your information, we will not sell, share or rent your
personal information with third parties. Please note,
however, that we may share your information with one or
more of our partners or resellers if you request
information about our products and services, and those
products or services are marketed through our partner or
reseller arrangements. In addition, we may share your
information with outside contractors (including credit
card processors) who provide order fulfillment,
shipping, billing or support services for us. Any third
party receiving your information from us is required to
hold such information in confidence and in accordance
with applicable law and to use such information only for
the stated purpose for which it was provided. We may
also use and share aggregated information about website

track and make commission payments to our partners and
resellers.
We may share some or all of your personal information
with a parent company or with subsidiary companies or
other companies that are controlled by or under common
control with us. Such companies will be bound by this
privacy statement. If we merge with another company or
if our company (or all or substantially all of our
assets) are acquired, the acquirer will own the personal
information that we have collected, but such ownership
shall be subject to the terms of this privacy statement.

Use of Cookies
A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a
user’s computer for record-keeping purposes, and to
enable easier navigation between sections of a web site.
We use cookies on this site. If you have provided
us with personal information, we may link the cookies to
your information for the purpose of identifying you as a
registered visitor to the site, as described below.
There are two kinds of cookies—session cookies and
persistent cookies. A session cookie exists only for as
long as are visiting the website. Session cookies make
it easier for you to navigate our site and expire when
you close you browser.
A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive for an
extended period of time and includes information such as
your unique identifier for your browser. You can remove
persistent cookies by following directions provided in
your Internet browser’s “help” file. We use persistent
cookies to confirm your identity as a registered user.
Persistent cookies also enable us to track and target
the interests of our users to enhance the experience on
our site.
If you disable, reject or delete cookies, you may still
use our website, but you may need to occasionally
re-enter information as you move through areas of our
site.
Clear Gifs (Web
Beacons, Web Bugs)
Authentium does not use the software technology
called clear gifs (also known as “Web Beacons” or “Web
Bugs”) to analyze traffic on our website. Clear
gifs are tiny graphics (about 1 by 1 pixels) with a
unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and
are sometimes used to track the online movements of
website visitors. We do not use clear gifs at our
site.
We, or our third party marketing firms, may occasionally
use clear gifs in HTML-based emails to let us know which
emails have been opened by recipients. This allows us to
determine how effective our email campaigns may be and
to improve our email marketing efforts. If you would
like to opt-out of these emails, please follow the
directions at the foot of the newsletter or HTML email
or see “How You Can Opt-Out or Change Your Personal
Information.”

Forums, Blogs &
Discussions
If you elect to participate in a forum, blog or
discussion on our website, please be advised that this
privacy statement does not cover any personal or other
information that you may disclose and we have no control
over or responsibility for how participants in such
forum, blog or discussion may use any personal
information that you provide to them.
Security
We take security measures consistent with industry
practice to help protect against the unauthorized
disclosure, misuse, theft or alteration of your
information. These measures include the encryption of
any credit card information or other sensitive personal
information that is transmitted to or from our website.
In addition, our web servers are hosed in a secure
server environment that uses a firewall and other
intrusion protection technology to protect against
unauthorized access or interference.
If you have any questions about the security of our

send us an email at security @ authentium.com.
Legal Disclaimer
We reserve the right to disclose your personal
information as required by law or in circumstances where
we believe that such disclosure is necessary to enforce
or protect our rights or to comply with any governmental
or judicial orders or in connection with any legal
proceeding.
Notification of Changes
We reserve the right to change our privacy practices
and this privacy statement at any time. If we change our
privacy practices, we will post a notification of change
on our website. In addition, if any change involves the
handling of your personal information, the notice will
include instructions on how to opt-out.
